The Seipee Standard! – Jan. 17, 2020
There is always a concern of overheating your motor’s windings when running your electric motor in high temperature environments and at a high power. The windings are designed to withstand certain temperatures before it becomes dangerous for your motor. We understand this and have implemented a standard to solve this issue. All of our JM 80-132 motor series are equipped with thermal probe thermistors (PTC), while the JM 160 and GM 160-400 motor series are equipped with both bimetallic thermal sensors (PTO) and thermal probe thermistors (PTC) to ensure that the windings are protected, while you are alerted if the motor begins getting too hot and is approaching a temperature that would burn the windings. Because these motors come with these probes and sensors as our standard, there is added assurance that your Seipee motor can remain efficient and running. The terminals of these probes are always found within the terminal box and its gland is located on the side opposite to the entrance of the cables that feed the motor. Wide range of thermistors and bimetallic thermal sensors are also available! We strive on having the latest technology allowing you to stay up and running and maximize your production.
